Homeopathic Associations in Italy:

In Italy there are currently two homeopathic associations that are part of LMHI : FIAMO and LUIMO.
Fiamo has about 350 members, of these 136 are currently in good standing with the payments for membership also to LMHI
Luimo has 23 members, also belonging to the LMHI.

Homeopathic Schools
Fiamo: 11 LMHI accredited training schools, where training is provided for doctors, pharmacists and veterinarians, while Luimo organizes training courses with its own school (training doctors, pharmacists and veterinarians).
Accredited Schools follow the educational programmes set out in the LMHI guidelines.
The Schools are coordinated by Vincenzo Falabella and Federico Allegri.
Congresses
After the last report I sent to LMHI, the following events took place:
• November 2023: IRMSO School of Rome held its second congress, which was attended by teachers and students of the school but also international speakers, in particular, the Mexican School of Homeopathy.
• March 2024 the 20th national congress of Fiamo entitled "Clinical and Research in Homeopathy" was held in Rome
Events:
In April 2024, Fiamo celebrated the World Day of Homeopathy with numerous regional events (meetings with the population, conferences).
The national celebration was held online, with a large participation of doctors and patients who exchanged experiences and information.
In May 2024 Luimo organized an INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR with doctors Alok and Aditya PAREEK at the Lazzaretto Naples on the theme "Autoimmune diseases".
Situation:
In Italy homeopathic medicine is experiencing difficulties due to the many obstacles put into place by traditional allopathic medicine; Homeopathic Schools are recording a significant drop in enrollment, especially by younger professionals, both doctors and veterinarians and pharmacists.
Fiamo, led by President Bruno Galeazzi, is trying to bring together and coordinate all the homeopaths, through the creation of a consensus conference that can be a glue for all the different currents of thought and training, but remaining faithful to the common master Hahnemann’s thinking.
Personally, as NVP Italy, I am also trying to bring all Italian homeopaths closer to the life and activities of LMHI, for many little known or even unknown. I am trying to promote the consultation of the LMHI site, that currently very few visit and I am sharing on all possible channels the activities (webinars, courses) and magazines (newsletter, THP).
With colleagues from the IRMSO School in Rome and other colleagues we are carrying on the Italian editions of the LMHI magazines, thanks to the tireless work of coordination of Dr Pietro Gulia.
