Homeopathy in Argentina is widely recognized for its long-standing tradition and rigorous academic standards. Medical training in our country is provided through high-level programs for physicians, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, and midwives, delivered by institutions that adhere to the educational guidelines established by the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI). Owing to their expertise and teaching excellence, educators from Argentine institutions are frequently invited to lecture internationally.

The Federation of Argentine Homeopathic Medical Associations (Federación de Asociaciones Médicas Homeopáticas Argentinas, FAMHA) brings together prestigious educational institutions, upholding this legacy since 1995. FAMHA organizes both national and international academic conferences while continuing its advocacy for the formal recognition of homeopathy.

To regulate professional practice, FAMHA established the College of Homeopathic Physicians, registering medical doctors affiliated with its member associations. The College works to elevate professional standards through physician recertification and ensures the ethical practice of homeopathic medicine via its Code of Ethics.

In Argentina, homeopaths—as licensed medical doctors—are fully authorized to prescribe homeopathic remedies prepared by accredited pharmacies, although the practice has not yet been designated as an official medical subspecialty. Despite facing criticism from traditional segments within the healthcare system, homeopathy in Argentina continues to earn respect across broader healthcare circles and remains deeply appreciated by the countless patients who have benefited from this therapeutic discipline.
