Annual Report 2024 During the last year, important milestones for
Homeopathy were achieved in Argentina,, as listed below. The Federación de
Asociaciones Médicas Homeopáticas Argentinas (FAMHA, Federation of Argentinean
Homeopathic Medical Associations) managed to organize their first international
academic Conference after the break during the pandemic years. It has been a
great experience to gather again and share knowledge, scientific and clinical
presentations and academic lectures. In addition, FAMHA institutions members (AMHA, EMHA,
CEMHHCba) renewed their accreditation in LMHI and continue to provide regular
teaching activities, courses for medical doctors, veterinarians, dentists,
pharmacists, midwives; Agrohomeopathy and academic support to new and
experienced homeopaths. Foreign Exchange Academic Program between Latin American
Homeopathic schools was also implemented, being the first swap between
Argentina and Mexico completed with successful results and feedback. Moreover, Homeopathic Medical Doctors College conducted
physician recertification after the pause generated during the pandemic years,
which provides an environment to bring together and set academic standards
requirements for Argentinean homeopaths. However, even though Argentinean Homeopathy has always had a
recognized place internationally on both clinical and educational aspects, we
have been experiencing a retraction in our field noted in many other countries
as well. It is reflected in the new aspiring student’s reduction in most of our
schools, which in addition to economic issues in the country, caused some
institutions to close their doors. The remaining schools continue to provide
academic programs with excellence as stated above. It is our steady purpose to continue working to spread
Homeopathy and to subside this crisis as noted above as we truly believe in
Hahnemann’s great therapeutic method.
