Homeopathy in Afghanistan

As I found the AHMA in August 2018, and start work for the establishment and development of homeopathy in our country, we have done so many accountable activities for improvement of homeopathy in Afghanistan, I organized a formal unit from different relevant government and private departments of our country, to achieve the goals effectively.

My first participation in an international Scientific Convention WHD-2019, with full support of LMHI, I was being introduced with some international colleagues whom associated with their organizations, and I found the route how to work better for homeopathy internationally, after returning back to my homeland I generated my first visit report with all our governmental and international homeopathic organizations.

In July 2019 LMHI 74th World Congress, our association AHMA has been approved as the Institutional Member of LMHI, and I have been selected as the LMHI-Afghanistan National Contact Person. I really appreciate the right decision of the LMHI Team.

In December I visited Dehli again with my government officials to understand the homeopathy, a presentation has been presented by Respected Dr. Raj K. Manchanda in NHMCH Delhi,

These above visits was enough to satisfy our government officials to see the evidences.

In January 11, 2020 I was officially invited for a presentation about homeopathy in President House by Dr. Faizullah Kakar PhD, the Chief of Staff, Office of the President, it was very effective and result oriented presentation, in result he promised to support the homeopathy in all aspects. He appreciated and said, homeopathy is an effective and reasonable/affordable system of medicine to adopt. There is lack of homeopathic public awareness and no education system present in Afghanistan, we have done uncountable struggles and work for the development of homeopathy in Afghanistan since 2018. In Afghanistan there are good number of qualified homeopaths, whom are not able to practice in their profession as a registered homeopathic practitioner, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has not been able to issue the license to homeopaths due to unavailability of regulation act for homeopathic medical system within the government of Afghanistan. Although, there is no coordinating body in the structures of public and private sectors.

Now we are trying to work on conventional doctors to revert them to homeopathy to increase our strength within the allopathic area, it will be a great achievement for the awareness among the conventional doctors. We are sending some dermatologists to Bakson’s Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital for Skin Diseases to train them how to treat the skin disease homeopathically. Thanks to Dr. SPK Bakshi for his kind proposal. They will provide all facilities to our trainees totally free.

Our request from LMHI and other homeopathic organizations/institutions to help the Afghan homeopaths in the mentioned issue in near future.
